MeetCamChat Random Voice Chat
Audio mode
Random voice chat on MeetCamChat is a one-to-one conversation with a girl where neither camera is on: you switch the match screen to Audio, tap Start and talk. It is the mode for bad-light nights, wet hair and rooms you would rather keep off camera.

It is the Audio mode on the same match screen you use for cam chat. You are paired with one girl at a time, you hear each other, and neither of you is on camera. Next and follows work the same way, and you can go back to camera in any later match.
Nothing else about MeetCamChat changes: the same girls, the same profiles, the same Messages afterwards. It is simply the site with the picture switched off. The camera version is explained in the cam chat guide, and the MeetCamChat home page lays out all three modes together.
There is no separate section to find. It all happens on the match screen.
A mic close to your mouth cuts echo and keeps your voice clear, even when you talk quietly.
Tap Audio in the row of modes along the bottom of the match screen before you start.
Your browser asks for microphone access. The camera is not used at all.
Silence feels longer on a voice match than on camera. A quick hello and a first question fill it.
Hear an echo? It is usually speakers feeding back into a microphone, hers or yours. Earbuds on both ends fix it.
Because a voice carries more than text and asks less of you than a camera. You can lie on the sofa in the dark, wander around the kitchen, or talk while your face is a mess. Plenty of people are funnier when nobody is looking at them.
It helps when you share a room, too. A roommate asleep behind a thin wall is a reason to talk softly rather than skip the evening, and if even that is too loud, typing in random text chat is the quieter option.
Voice chat with girls also slows the pace in a good way. Nobody is judging a background or an outfit, so the conversation itself gets all the attention.
There is a practical side as well: voice needs far less data than video, so it holds up better on a weak connection or a crowded train.
No studio needed. A few small changes make a big difference to how you come across.
Speak a little slower than you think you need to. Over a connection, fast talkers blur.
Yes, and it is one of the best uses for it. Without a camera you focus on listening, and nobody minds a pause while you search for a word. Tell her at the start that you are practising; most people are happy to slow down and help.
Keep the first few sentences simple, ask her to correct you, and offer the same if she is learning your language. A random voice call with a native speaker teaches you more about real pronunciation than an evening with a textbook.
Text messages can be translated automatically, but voice is not, so this is real practice rather than assisted chat.
Yes, from your next match. The mode is chosen on the match screen before each search, so if a voice conversation goes well, follow her and switch to Video for your next matches, or start a chat from her profile later. Nothing locks you into Audio.
When you are ready to be seen, the cam to cam guide has the light and angle advice that make the first few seconds easier.
She hears your voice and can see your display name, plus a profile photo if you chose to add one. You start as a guest, so your real name never comes up unless you say it out loud. For anonymous voice chat, that is about as far as it goes: the rest is up to what you share.
Keep it that way by leaving out your surname, workplace and neighbourhood, and skip anyone who pushes for them. The safety page covers blocking and reporting.

Mic check
Yes. Each Audio match connects you with one girl. No third person is on the line, and Next ends the chat for both of you.
No. Audio mode never turns your camera on. She hears your voice and can see your display name and profile photo, if you added one.
Your browser may have blocked the microphone. Allow microphone access for meetcamchat.com from the address bar, then start a new match.
Yes, in Safari or Chrome. Earbuds with a built-in mic give the clearest sound and keep the other side of the conversation out of the room.
Yes, that is part of the appeal. With earbuds in you can cook, tidy up or lie in the dark while you talk; just keep loud noises away from the mic.
Start with hello and something light, like asking what time it is where she is. Without a picture, a warm tone and a real question carry the first minute.
No. Only text messages can be translated automatically. On a voice match, speak slowly and keep sentences short if you do not share a language.
